Practical geodesy training with drones and GPS equipment was organized for ADAU students

A master class on drones, Base Rover GPS and their use rules during geodetic measurements and topographic planning work was held for students studying in the “Land Surveying and Real Estate Cadastre” specialty at the Faculty of Agrotechnology of the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ADAU).

Ozal Orujov, Director of Geoland Mapping Services, and Rustam Adigozelov, Chief Topographer of North West Construction, demonstrated their practical skills in modern land surveying tools and equipment used in production to II, III and VI year students.

The purpose of the lesson was to conduct and teach geodetic measurements, photogrammetry, orthophoto plans, relief models, 3D models, etc. geodetic works with modern geodetic tools and equipment. During the training process, specialists involved modern tools and equipment used in production in the training process and provided detailed information on the stages of obtaining and processing geodetic data, how to work with them.
