The Faculty of Agrotechnology was established in 2009. Until 2016, the faculty was headed by Professor Movsumov Elman Mahammad.

There are departments of land management, chemistry, design, food engineering, and expertise at the faculty.

At present, the Faculty of Agrotechnology trains specialists in land management and real estate cadastre, winemaking, examination and marketing of consumer goods, food engineering, and design.

Since 2016, the faculty is headed by Associate Professor Afgan Huseynov.

Scientific research laboratories called "Food Expertise", "Food Technology" and "Wine" at the Department of Food Engineering and Expertise, "Laboratory Design" at the Department of Land Management, Analytical Chemistry, Non-organic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biological Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry laboratories operate at the faculty. 370 full-time and part-time bachelor's students study here.

There are 3 doctors of sciences, professors, 15 doctors of philosophy, associate professors, 18 senior teachers, and 15 assistants at the faculty.

There is non-specialist training in land management design, land and urban cadastre, design, food engineering, consumer goods expertise, and marketing at the master's level. At the doctoral level, scientific research is carried out in the field of land use design, food technology, and winemaking.
